About
Anne-Katherine concierge

Nestled in the French Alps, at a crossroads between some of the best kept secret mountain explorations, our three-story chalet is equipped with all the necessities and complimented with a style that very much represents who we are and what we love about this region.

Located in the small hamlet of La Mazure, this classic structure has for centuries provided refuge for animals and humans alike. The stones that make up for a good portion of the exterior walls, a feature of traditional architecture in the Tarentaise valley landscape, have braved the elements and stood the test of time since 1761. What was once a simple barn has been transformed into a living space that now provides all the amenities you can hope for to fully put your mind at rest and unwind.

When you stay with us, we invite you to allow nature inspire you, take it slow, observe, listen to the inner as often as the outer, find joy and playfulness in what your environnement has to offer, refill. It is a place for those who are ready to tune into the rhythm of the natural world so they can dream their next adventure, in the mountains or in life.

Our proposition is to leave the noise behind and let the place, the culture and people replenish the body and nourish the soul. There is so much magic and history all around, we simply want to share it with everyone!

Our concierge, Anne-Katherine, will be your resource and point of contact during the entirety of your stay. Her contact information will be communicated with you prior to arrival, so please do not hesitate to get in touch with her as questions arise closer to the arrival date!

A short ride away, you will find Sainte-Foy Station, La Rosière, or the Villaroger chairlifts that will take you to Les Arcs in the winter. Tignes and Val d’Isère are about 30 minutes away, depending on the weather and road conditions.

Anne-Katherine Ortho-Bionomy Practitioner
Our concierge Anne-Katherine is not only an infinite source of information when it comes to our beautiful valley, but can also be booked for a session of Ortho-Bionomy, which can be best described as helping the body self-correct imbalances that have built up over time from stress, injury, accident, improper posture, or emotional experiences. This is done by using gentle positioning and movements that will allow tension patterns to relax, reset, and reorganize from within.
Teresa Private Chef
Originally from the Italian Dolomite Mountains, Teresa found a second home in the Tarentaise valley in 2018. Inspired by the surroundings and her Italian heritage, her cooking evolves with the seasons and brings together ingredients she will find locally, if it’s at the nearby farms, the farmers' market, or foraging the nearby fields.
Thibaud Mountain Guide
Thibaud is a fully trained mountain guide whose approach allows for contemplation, discovery, learning, autonomy, and performance. He will give ample time to what he considers key to the process: the planning and preparation stage of the trip. This ensures that the intentions of each individual are being voiced and met to the extend that the overall conditions allow it.
Caroline Nature and Animal Lover
Caroline thrives on creating adventures designed to reconnect to yourself and the environment that surrounds you. In the winter, it might take the shape of a day spent skiing, snowboarding or snowshoeing.
Florence Private Chef
Florence’s cooking is ever-changing, multifaceted, intuitive, and can take the shape of a traditional dish from the Savoie region, or transport you to some more remote corners of the world. Her food grows in healthy nutritious soils and is sourced locally whenever possible, if not directly harvested from her own backyard in La Mazure.
